Responsibilities
- Review requirements in IPD concept and planning phases, assess testability, and define DFT requirements.
- Lead end-to-end test strategies for mechanics, optics, and structures, defining scope, reliability tests, review gates, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate test resources and environments, lead core test-case design, and improve automated test coverage.
- Investigate new test methods, solve difficult technical problems, and develop reusable test assets, processes, and team capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanics, optics, structures, measurement and control, or a related field, with 5+ years testing complex products.
- Know specialist test equipment and reliability methods; independently define, design, execute, and evaluate tests.
- Analyze testability and DFX requirements and resolve core testing challenges.
- Understand reliability design and translate critical reliability metrics into executable validation plans.
